Leadership Seminars and Group Mentoring
Both Leadership Seminars and Group Mentoring provide interactive lectures that transfer knowledge to
groups and may include various types of activities, tools, tests and exercises.
In a seminar format, the coach is offering an interactive lecture either in one hour or one day, for example,
that allows the audience to learn about specific leadership topics, discussed in the context of how they can
facilitate or undermine success. Leadership seminars are often customized to meet clients' specific needs
and can be used by companies, not-for-profits or associations when:
- They want to give a large group of individuals the opportunity to learn how to improve their
leadership effectiveness in a short period of time
- They would like to change the culture of a group, for example, focusing on customer service, results,
collaboration or innovation
- They want to resolve recurring problems that have impeded the success of the group or organization
- They are looking for a cost-effective way to offer the benefits of coaching to their teams
- Other
Group mentoring is a mixture between the coaching and seminars. The service is not provided in one hour
or one day, but over a series of short sessions with the goal of guiding people to master a specific topic or
skill. The participants learn and test new theories and practice new skills between sessions and bring back
results in order to maximize the integration of the knowledge acquisition into new, empowered habits.
Clients use group mentoring when:
- They know what they want to achieve, have the focus and skills to do reach it on their own, but eager to attain it as quickly as possible
- They know what they want to achieve, but have been unsuccessful in doing so on their own
- They are open to work within a group, through which they learn others' perspective as the participants discuss each topic
- They are looking for a cost-effective method of accessing coaching benefits
